Instructions
Step 1. Add olive oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until it starts to brown.
Flip bacon several times to prevent over-browning. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel. Bacon will crisp as it cools. Break or chop into small pieces.
Step 2. Mix cream cheese, chopped green onion, chopped bacon, and red pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
Step 3. Unroll the dough into a flat sheet. Press together perforations so you have one piece of dough in a rectangle.
Step 4. Use a spatula to gently spread the bacon-cream cheese mixture to the edges of the dough. Spread evenly. Tip: If the dough is stiff, microwave for 10-15 seconds and stir before spreading on dough.
Step 5. Carefully roll dough into a log from the long side of the dough.
Using a serrated knife, cut dough log into 1-inch rounds. You should get approximately 30 rounds.
Step 6. Add rounds to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with paprika.
Step 7. Place the baking sheet on the bottom rack of the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown on the sides and bottom of the appetizer. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes.
