Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing is a slightly sweet and tangy dressing, flavored with celery seed, onion powder, and Dijon mustard.
This dressing is perfect to accent for salads with fruit or salads with earthy flavors.
Ingredients
Substitutions
I love this dressing for its flavor, but also for its ease of substitution. Try they easy swaps:
Raspberry balsamic vinegar | Balsamic vinegar or white wine vinegar plus 1 teaspoon sugar
Extra virgin olive oil | Canola oil or vegetable oil
Dijon mustard | Yellow mustard
Onion powder | Garlic powder (limit to 1/8 tsp)
Instructions
Step 1. Add olive oil and raspberry balsamic vinegar to bowl. Use a whisk to briskly combine.
Step 2. Add Dijon mustard and whisk.
Step 3. Add sugar, celery seed, onion powder, and salt to bowl. Whisk briskly until well mixed and sugar dissolves. Transfer to a krafe or jar to dispense.
What to Serve with Raspberry Dressing
Serve raspberry vinaigrette dressing on a mixture of salad greeds, mixed with chopped cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, fruit, and cheese. It works well for Feta Cheese, Apple, and Pecan Salad. For a different twist try it on my Apple and Roasted Beet Salad.
