Ingredients

  • 12 ounces broccolli julienned
  • 2 apples thinly sliced
  • 1 cup grapes halved
  • 1/3 cup almonds sliced
  • 1/3 cup vinegar white wine
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

Toast Almonds

  • Toast sliced almonds by placing on a microwave safe plate. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir almonds. Repeat 2 additional times. Set aside and let almonds cool.

Dressing

  • Mix brown sugar with a tablespoon hot water until sugar is dissolved.
  • Stir white wine vinegar and salt into dissolved brown sugar.

Slaw

  • Add broccoli, sliced apple, and grapes to a large bowl.
  • Pour dressing over slaw ingredients and mix well.
  • Sprinkle with almonds.
  • Cover and refridgerate for at least 3 hours. Flavors will develop the longer the slaw marinates.
