Cut each chicken breast into equal portions. Thinnly slice onion. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in frying pan over medium heat.
Add sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes until onion starts to brown. Add the minced garlic. Stir and cook.
Add chicken portions and sliced apple. Sprinkle with paprika, poultry seasoning, basil, and salt and pepper. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side until browned Lower temperature to low, cover and cook for 10 minutes until the internal temperature is 165° F Check with a temperature probe. Remove from pan and serve with apple, onion, and a drizzle of sauce.
