Tasty Grilled Chicken Kabob Recipe

Simple marinated chicken, grilled a quick and flavorful meal.

  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 tsp oregano dried
  • 2 tsp rosemary dried
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 bay leaves


  • 2 lg chicken breasts
  • 1 bell pepper 1/2 yellow, 1/2 orange cut into 2 inch squares
  • 1 onion


  • 1/4 cup vinegar white wine
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt


Chicken Preparation

  • Add water, white wine vinegar, and salt to bowl. Add chicken and let soak for 10 minutes.
  • Rince chicken and remove any excess fat.


  • While chicken is soaking. Add garlic, oregano, rosemary, paprika, olive oil, lemon juice, white wine, salt, and bay leaves to gallon size zip lock bag.
  • Add cleaned chicken to bag and marinate for 1/2 hour up to 2 hours. The best flavor comes out the longer you marinate the chicken.
  • Cut chicken into 2-inch pieces. Thread chicken pieces onto skewer, alternating with with bell pepper and onion until skewer is 2/3 full. Don't tightly pack chicken.
  • Discard marinade once chicken in on skewers.


  • Heat grill on high.
  • Place skewers over high heat. Grill for 5 minutes and flip skewers. Continue cooking for 5 minutes and rotating until chkcen brown. Move chicken to indirect heat and continue to cook for a total of approximately 15-20 minutes depnding on your grill and how it cooks.
  • Cook until internal chicken temperature reaches 165F degrees.
  • Serve and enjoy as main entree, in a pita, or on a salad.
