- 12 oz Spinach fresh
- 2 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- Pinch of Garlic Powder
- Pinch of Onion Powder
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add chopped spinach.
Saute until spinach is wilted.
Add heavy whipping cream and cream cheese.
Stir until cream cheese is melted and forms a cream sauce.
Add nutmeg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Heat through and serve.
Recipe Tips
1-I love the nutmeg in this recipe. It can be made without if you aren't a fan.
2-You can also use frozen chopped spinach for a time saver, but squeeze out the excess water after it thaws.
