Equipment

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 10 Taco Shells

Taco Spice Blend

  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1/3 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground turkey to pan and allow to cook for 3-5 minutes.
  • Turn turkey and allow to brown for 3-5 minutes.
  • Break up ground beef and stir.
  • Combine spices and sprinkle over ground turkey. Add water and stir.
  • Cook for 3 minutes until moisture is absorbed.
  • Prepare shells according to directions.
  • Fill shells with ground turkey, and toppings. Add a dollop of Greek yogurt and serve.
