- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin 1 15 oz can
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1/2 tsp ginger ground
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg ground
- 1/4 tsp cloves ground
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 9-inch Homemade Pie Crust
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Make one 9-inch pie crust. Set in refrigerator to cool
Add pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, beaten eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix with a hand mixer on medium-low speed unil well combined.
Pour into pie crust.
Put pie in refrigerator for 15 minutes to cool.
Cover edges of pie with aluminum foil to prevent over browning.
Place pie on bottom rack of the oven. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350°F and bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean.
