Spicy Roasted Almonds

Spicy roasted almonds are a flavorful snack, addition to salads, or chopped in yogurt or cottage cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp chipotle garlic seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • sea salt

Instructions

  • Place almonds in a frying pan and heat over medium heat for 5 minutes until they start to brown and are aromatic. Let cool.
  • Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Mix Worchestershire sauce, extra virgin olive oil together in a zip lock bag or mixing bowl.
  • Add almonds and let stand for 15 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain almonds and spread on baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Cool and serve.
  • Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
