Easy Green Beans with Bacon, Mushrooms and Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans green Beans cut
  • 1 Can mushrooms sliced
  • 1 Cup broth chicken or vegetable
  • 3 Slices bacon
  • 1 tsp  onion minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Rinse canned beans and mushrooms with water. Drain well and set aside.
  • Fry bacon in a frying pan until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towel. Crumble. Set aside.
  • Add olive oil to frying pan and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add green beans. mushrooms, onions, and broth to a large pan.
  • Bring to a boil and then lower temperature to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Add crumbled bacon. salt and pepper. Continue to simmer for 5 minutes..

  2. Minced onion has a lot of flavors. Experiment on how much you like in your recipe.
