Ingredients

  • 12 oz Spinach fresh
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 tsp  Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Pinch of Garlic Powder
  • Pinch of Onion Powder

Instructions

  • Melt butter in frying pan.
  • Add chopped spinach.
  • Saute until spinach is wilted.
  • Add heavy whipping cream and cream cheese.
  • Stir until cream cheese is melted and forms a cream sauce.
  • Add nutmeg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat through and serve.

Notes

Recipe Tips

1-I love the nutmeg in this recipe. It can be made without if you aren't a fan.
2-You can also use frozen chopped spinach for a time saver, but squeeze out the excess water after it thaws.
